This ring is exactly what i want my shop to represent. It was once an antique spoon that has been transformed into a beautiful sterling silver ring. It has been modernised and utilised and will never decrease in value due to its high quality. It has truly been reanimated.

My inspiration for this business venture came from reading 'Roger Dodsworth: The Reanimated Englishman' for my English Literature degree that I am studying in Cardiff. I have always had an interest in antiques from an early age through watching shows such as Cash in the Attic and Bargain hunt and then getting a job at an auctioneers.

It would be a dream come true to open up a shop selling refurbished antique furniture but it will take a lot of time and planning to be ready to set up a business. Already, I have found inspiration online and I am hoping that this blog will help me track and record anything i might find and later want to use.

I really like the website www.etsy.com for finding beautiful, handmade items and the table and chairs in the image are definitely the kind of style that i want the items in my shop to reflect. I like the crispness of the white and the boldness of the pattern.
